Oceanview Golfing in Hawaii at the Mauna Kea Championship Golf Course
Mauna Kea Golf Course
“It’s hard to believe that before 1964 golf didn’t exist on the Island of Hawaii.”
Our Hawaii golf resort’s award-winning, 18-hole championship golf course has set the standard for Hawaii golf for generations. Created in 1964 by Robert Trent Jones Sr. on what was once a barren black lava field, today’s lush fairways tumble across seaside cliffs with unfolding ocean and coastal views. Elevated, undulating greens and prevailing coastal winds demand accuracy, while an epic over-the-ocean 3rd hole guarantees an unforgettable day of play. Enjoy our course video here.
Mauna Kea Resort also boasts the Arnold Palmer/Ed Seay-designed Hapuna Golf Course.
Mauna Kea Golf Course will be closed to the public beginning Sunday, March 29, 2020.
Update on Hapuna Golf Course:
With the April 30th announcement by the State of Hawaii and the changes to the Stay at Home Order certain designated business are now allowed to re-open, we are very pleased to announce the re-opening of the Hapuna Golf Course on Monday, May 11th.
